Mining Resume Tips

Mining is its own world, and I've lived in it. Companies here care about safety, tickets, reliability and whether you can handle the lifestyle.

Put your certifications up top: safety tickets, first aid, WHMIS, equipment operation, driver's licences and any site-specific training. These are often the first thing a recruiter checks.

Show you understand the lifestyle. FIFO and camp work aren't for everyone, so demonstrating you know what you're signing up for builds trust.

Emphasize safety. A strong safety mindset is non-negotiable in mining. If you've got a clean record and safety training, make it obvious.

No mining experience yet? Don't count yourself out. Transferable trades, labour and machinery experience go a long way. I'll help you connect the dots.
