Why You're Not Getting Interviews

Let me start with something I wish someone had told me years ago: silence from employers usually isn't about you as a person. It's almost always about how your application is landing before a human ever reads it.

The first culprit is the software. Most companies use an applicant tracking system (ATS) that scans your resume before a person sees it. If your resume is a fancy template with columns, tables and graphics, that software can choke on it and quietly file you away.

The second is relevance. Recruiters skim. If they can't tell in six seconds that you fit the role, they move on. Your resume needs to mirror the words in the job posting, honestly and specifically.

The third is volume without strategy. Firing off 100 generic applications feels productive, but ten tailored applications will almost always beat it. Quality wins.

The good news? Every one of these is fixable. And that's exactly the kind of thing I help with. If you're stuck in the silence, book a free consultation and let's figure out what's really going on.
